NFPP (Na₄Fe₃(PO₄)₂P₂O₇) Polyanionic Cathode Material for Sodium‑Ion Batteries

NFPP (Na₄Fe₃(PO₄)₂P₂O₇) is a high‑performance polyanionic cathode material designed for next‑generation sodium‑ion batteries (SIBs). As a member of the phosphate‑based polyanionic family, NFPP offers excellent structural stability, high safety, and long cycle life, making it a strong candidate for large‑scale energy‑storage applications such as grid storage, industrial ESS, and renewable‑energy buffering.

1. Product Overview

NFPP features a robust three‑dimensional polyanionic framework composed of FeO₆ octahedra and PO₄/P₂O₇ tetrahedra. This structure provides strong Fe–O bonds and stable redox behavior, enabling reliable Na⁺ insertion/extraction during cycling. Compared with traditional layered or Prussian‑blue‑type cathodes, NFPP demonstrates superior thermal stability and structural integrity under high‑temperature or long‑duration operation.
